Flower Festival, Pike Place Market (9 am to 5 pm) - Celebrate the arrival of spring at the annual Pike Place Market Flower Festival on Mother's Day weekend. More than 40 flower, produce, and value-added farmers will line the cobblestone street of Pike Place on Saturday & Sunday, May 9th & 10th. Kids will have fun drawing and decorating a handmade card for Mom at the card making booth. The Pike Place Market Foundation will have a tent with information on the new Market Charm, a unique gift for Mom that will hang on the new Pike Place MarketFront.
Mom & Me at the Zoo, Woodland Park Zoo (9:30 am to 3 pm) - Celebrate Mother's Day with the 25th annual Mom & Me at the Zoo. Moms and families enjoy lots of fun activities on the North Meadow. Moms receive half-price admission to the zoo on the day of the event.

Run Like a Mother 5K, Magnuson Park, Seattle (8:30 am) - You can't miss Mt. Rainer as it towers over you in our Seattle events. The course is flat/fast and offers scenic views along Lake Washington. We host a fun post-post race party for the entire family to experience. Enjoy foods, refreshments and cool products and services from our sponsors. We'll have fun activities for the kids, too! StoryCraft: Stories My Mother Taught Me, Burke Museum, Seattle (10:30 am to 12:30 pm) - Hear stories from the best Native Storytellers in the Northwest and enjoy a unique craft activity. This Mother's Day, Elaine Grinnell shares stories that teach us how to live together as families and communities. Elaine has shared the stories of the Jamestown S'klallam tribe for most of her 73 years, and her artistry is praised around the world.
